RANKD — 계정과 데이터 삭제
RANKD는 회원가입이 없는 앱입니다. 이름·이메일·전화번호를 받지 않고, 앱을 처음 열 때 Firebase Authentication이 만든 익명 ID 하나만 씁니다. 이 익명 계정과 그에 딸린 데이터는 앱 안에서 직접 지울 수 있습니다.
1. 앱에서 지우는 방법
- RANKD를 엽니다
- 아래 탭에서 누구인가? → 오른쪽 위 설정(⚙️)
- 맨 아래 계정 칸에서 “계정과 내 데이터 삭제”를 누릅니다
- 경고 문구를 읽고 삭제를 누릅니다
누르면 그 자리에서 처리됩니다. 별도의 심사나 대기 기간이 없고, 되돌릴 수 없습니다.
2. 앱을 지웠거나 앱에 들어갈 수 없는 경우
ahngreatbiz@gmail.com 으로 요청해 주시면 처리해 드립니다. 익명 ID를 모르셔도 됩니다 — 설정 화면 아래쪽에 표시되는 ID를 함께 적어주시면 더 빠릅니다. 영업일 기준 7일 안에 처리하고 결과를 회신합니다.
3. 무엇이 지워지고 무엇이 남는지

4. 덧붙인 선택지의 “자리”가 남는 이유
RANKD는 표를 항목 번호로 저장합니다(예: 3번 항목에 12표). 어떤 항목을 목록에서 없애면 그 뒤 항목들의 번호가 하나씩 밀리고, 그러면 예전에 찍은 표가 엉뚱한 항목에 붙습니다.
그래서 삭제 요청이 오면 문서를 없애는 대신 이름을 빈 값으로 바꾸고 익명 ID를 지우고 화면에서 가립니다. 남는 것은 “여기에 항목이 하나 있었다”는 빈 칸이고, 그 안에 이용자와 연결되는 정보는 없습니다.
5. 추가 보관 기간
저희는 지운 데이터의 사본을 따로 보관하지 않습니다. 데이터는 Google Firebase(Cloud Firestore, Authentication)의 asia-northeast3(서울) 리전에 있고, Firebase 자체의 운영 기록은 Google의 정책을 따릅니다 — Firebase 개인정보 보호를 참고하시기 바랍니다.

RANKD — Delete your account and data
RANKD has no sign-up. We never ask for your name, email or phone number — the app uses a single anonymous ID created by Firebase Authentication on first launch. You can delete that anonymous account and its data from inside the app.
1. Delete it in the app
- Open RANKD
- Bottom tab 누구인가? (Who) → Settings (⚙️) at the top right
- In the Account section at the bottom, tap “Delete account and my data”
- Read the warning and tap Delete
It happens immediately. There is no review step or waiting period, and it cannot be undone.
2. If you already removed the app
Email ahngreatbiz@gmail.com and we will do it for you. You do not need to know your anonymous ID, though including it (shown near the bottom of the Settings screen) makes it faster. We respond within 7 business days.
3. What is deleted and what remains

4. Why the slot remains
RANKD stores votes by item index (for example, 12 votes on item 3). Removing an item from the list would shift every later item's index by one, which would attach old votes to the wrong item. So on a deletion request we do not remove the document: we blank the name, remove the anonymous ID, and hide it. What remains is an empty slot with nothing in it that identifies anyone.
5. Additional retention
We keep no separate copies of deleted data. Data lives in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Authentication) in the asia-northeast3 (Seoul) region; Firebase's own operational records follow Google's policies — see Firebase Privacy.
